Nicole Lowder

 

Nicole is our manager here at Clemmons Gymnastics.

She is head coach of all our Carolina Elite cheerleading squads 

as well as working with all gymnastics levels and ages, from our

Parent-n-Tot program, to basic tumbling classes, all the way

to the Advanced Intermediate level. She started gymnastics at

Clemmons Gymnastics at the age of 5, and began cheering

for their Clemmons All-Stars at age 7. She did competitive

cheerleading for 10 years, in which her squad won over

20 National Titles as well as walking away with 1st place

at the 2005 World Championship. In April of 2009,

Nicole competed on an Open Coed International

team at the USASF World Championships and

placed 7th out of 47 teams from around the world. Nicole

has been teaching here for 7 years.

Brittany

 

Brittany is our Head Gymnastics Coach. She teaches all levels,

 ranging from Parent-Tot to the AB2 and Intermediate levels.

She has 10 years of gymnastics experience. She participated

in competitive gymnastics, during which time she placed

 1st in State Prep-Optional and 2nd place in levels 6 and 7.

 She competed up to level 9 and is also a sergeant in the

Army National Guard. This is Brittany's first year with us.

Gaylynn
 
Gaylynn is our Pre-School Director. She has worked
with pre-school children for 22 years and has 15
years of gymnastics experience, as well as having
taught with us for 16 years.
 
 
 

Jay

 

Jay is our Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has been

strength training for over 20 years and has been working

with athletes on their strength, speed and athletic abilities

for over 18 years. He is a member of the National Strength

and Conditioning Association; a registered Black Belt

in TKDO and a Mixed Martial Artist. Jay has worked with

athletes of all levels from Professional to seven year olds

just starting out. He has experience working with athletes

in several sports including but not limited to: football,

baseball, basketball, triathlons, gymnastics, swimming,

track and field, martial arts, lacrosse, volleyball, wrestling,

cheerleading and many more.

 

Jay is a published author for several strength and

conditioning articles and continues to work with

athletes of all age groups and colleges on an

individual basis including University of Tampa,

Georgia Tech, NC State and several others. 

 

 

 

Nick

 

Nick is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where

he was a cheerleader all 4 years. He is now helping

in our Cheerleading Program and Tumbling Classes.

 He has 2 years of experience working with children,

 and has worked with cheerleaders for 2 years.

This is Nick's second year with us.

Mary

 

Mary is the director of our Day Camp/After-School

Care program. She is also currently a 3 year old

preschool teacher at Clemmons Moravian

Preschool, where she has taught for 8 years.

In addition, she has a Bachelor of Arts degree

from UNCC, certification in First Aid and CPR.

Volunteer work included religious education

of third graders and a Girl Scout Leader for 10

years. She has experience working with special

needs and autistic children.
